In an act of resistance, I am posting a photo of a photo that makes me smile every time I walk into my study. The photographer is Alain Laboile, whose talk I attended two years ago at Leica Boston. It was a rare instance that I liked someone else’s photograph enough to buy it. The girl, mid-air, radiates joy.
